by the Spurs, shot 7-for-10 from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 from beyond the arc.

, taken No. 42 overall, dropped 14 points, two 3-pointers, five rebounds, five assists and two steals with only one turnover.

After grabbing a 16-10 edge through 10 minutes of play, the Spurs took complete control in the second quarter. They outscored New York 23-7 and went into the halftime break with a commanding 39-17 lead.

The Knicks did fight back somewhat in the third, winning the frame 20-13 to cut their deficit to 52-37 going into the fourth quarter. San Antonio never faltered, however, and maintained its double-digit lead to the finish line.

The Spurs and Knicks both shot well under 40%, with San Antonio finishing at 36.6%, and New York at just 26.5%.

Maliq Brown tallied eight points, eight rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block for San Antonio.

, drafted No. 47 overall, was the Knicks’ leading scorer with 16 points and a game-best four 3-pointers.

Pacôme Dadiet finished with 13 points and three rebounds, while Jack Kayil chipped in 12 points, five boards, three assists and two steals off the bench.
